Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and lead comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results for both B2B and B2C food clients.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify strategic opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive landscapes within the diverse food industry.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all marketing initiatives.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Strategize and optimize digital marketing efforts across channels like SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Oversee the planning and execution of social media content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels for both B2B and B2C food marketing.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization to achieve key metrics and demonstrate ROI.
Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership
- Guide the development of educational toolkits, sales materials, and marketing collateral for diverse audiences within the food industry.
- Stay ahead of Food & Ag trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory updates to inform marketing strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop authoritative thought leadership content and campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a significant portion specifically within the food industry, encompassing both B2B and B2C.
- Strong understanding of Food & Ag industry trends, consumer insights, and complex B2B marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with food service, retail, commodity board/associations, and dietitian audiences, alongside direct-to-consumer marketing.
- Understanding of commodity boards, markets, supply chains, and food processing is highly desirable.
Marketing & Communication Leadership
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex marketing strategies and insights to clients and internal teams.
- Proven ability to translate client objectives and market research into clear, concise, and engaging marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify opportunities, and drive performance improvements.
Digital & Technical Proficiency
- Extensive experience strategizing and executing across digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Hive).

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000
Location: Fully remote
